Apple $13.99 We use five varieties of apples from the central part of Main. The juice ferments completely and it is a semi-dry finish, The flavor is complex because the five flavors are nor identifiable. A nice roasted chicken dinner is a perfect meal with this wine or pick out your favorite cheddar cheese to go with it. In the fall, simmer it on the stove with spices and drink it warm.
Cranberry $16.99 Cranberries from Cape Cod are picked earlier for us to avoid super tartness in the finished product. The process is called “dry picking.” A little less sweetness is needed when we bottle the wine. It keeps the balance just right. It is a good wine by itself or can be mixed with vodka for a “Cape Cod.” The ultimate thing to do is pair it up with your turkey dinner. Make sure you get multiple bottles.
Blueberry $17.99 Wild Maine blueberries are the only source for this wine. Machias is where our berries are harvested. After they are juiced, the skins are left on during the fermentation to extract all the flavor and antioxidants. The taste is like having a piece of blueberry pie complete with cinnamon. Right on the edge of being a dessert wine, it also goes well with burgers on the grill. Don’t miss taking a bottle home with you!
Black Currant Apple $22.99 We use a portion of our blended apple wine with our Canadian black currants picked in Quebec to make this wine. It is unlike any wine you have ever tried. Sweet, tart, and spicy are the aromas and flavors that are picked up. It reminds people of a nice Port without the brandy. A Thai meal with the fixings is perfect for this pairing. Other options abound for this complex wine.
Apple Raspberry $18.99 Golden Russet apples from Nova Scotia and raspberries from Machias, Maine are the blend of juice for this wine, By far the sweetest wine that we make, some people expect it be sweeter. The difference is that the apples give the start and finish a slightly dry finish. There is plenty of raspberry to go around. Find your favorite cheesecake to pair with this wine. Dark chocolate works great, too.
Icewine 2008 $49.99 Canada is the “Icewine Capital of the World” these days. So it only natural we would get our juices from the best. Cabernet Franc is our base and fermented only to 11.5% ABV to leave as much sweetness as possible. This is dessert in a glass, but should be slowly sipped to get the most out of it. Honey, apricot, and nuttiness are just some of the flavors that come forth.
