| Pinot Noir produces a small crop. It has low amounts of tannin and relatively high acid levels for a red grape. Pinot Noir found its fame in the Burgundy region of France. These grapes were grown in Hungary just across the Austrian border. The grapes from these lands were lost to the families during the Cold War and reunited with their families in the last decade. Our Pinot Noir is made more delicate because we remove the skins prior to fermentation. These yield a more subtle body but allows the cherry and strawberry aromas of the wine to come out. |
