| The grapes for this wine were grown in northern Italy whose warmer evenings accentuate the hints of berry and plum typical of this variety. Merlot is generally of medium body and is then blended with Cabernet Sauvignon to make the famous Bordeaux wines. Instead, we have removed the skin from the must during fermentation which lightens the body of this wine and helps to bring out a soft currant flavor which makes it a perfect seasonal wine. |
