Chardonnay (Sharada)
"Sharada" is Sanskrit for autumnal, and the first batch of this lovely wine made its debut Fall 2008. The 2010 vintage, perhaps unlike any other chardonnay you have tasted, is unusual in two ways: It is completely un-oaked, and the grapes used were Late Harvest. This imparts a mild butter flavor with just a touch of sweetness, making it an excellent pairing with scallops or sweet Maine lobster. $16.95 (go back to all wines)
