| The Riesling is considered one of the "noble" grape varieties for winemaking. It can produce wines of high acidity and elegance because ot its cool growing areas. It has a perfumey and flowery nose, but finishes dry and almost steely. The grapes for this wine were grown in Rheinhessen, Germany, notes for Riesling production. We ferment the grapes in the cool October weather here in Bar Harbor. |
